Broadway Road Consultation

BROADWAY ROAD CONSULTATION
The latest update on the Devon County Council Highways, Broadway Road/Tweenways Consultation held at the Community Hall on Friday 19th April 2024 is as follows:-

Throughout August, speed surveys were carried out at both the western and eastern approaches of the Broadway Road and Tweenways junction. The results of which will be discussed within our next Speed Compliance Action Review Forum (SCARF), planned for the end of 2024. The SCARF is an opportunity for Devon County Council and Devon and Cornwall Constabulary to discuss and address speeding concerns. Further information regarding SCARF Assessments can be found on our ‘Safer Roads’ section of our website www.devon.gov.uk

Results of the SCARF can inform next steps to manage speed and suggest solutions to reduce speeds towards the junction, the outcome of such assessment will be considered in any further redesign of the scheme if required.

We look forward to updating you as soon as we can.
