Walks and Footpaths

Please be advised that during the Coronavirus crisis we ask you to please respect and adhere to the Prime Minister, Boris Johnsons' latest instructions.

If you do go out into these areas, please do so either alone or with one family member only and keep a distance of at least two metres apart from other people.

Prime Minister, Boris Johnson has instructed that each person can go out to exercise outdoors once a day.

Ways for Walking

A free leaflet of walks along public footpaths within our boundary is available from the council office or library.

A Walk Around Old Kingsteignton Village

A new leaflet produced to help visitors and residents alike discover the unseen areas of Kingsteignton and learn some of the history that makes it unique.

Free copies of the booklet opposite are available from the Library, the Council Offices & Community Hall Foyer, Newton Abbot Tourist Information Office and various establishments within Kingsteignton.

PLEASE NOTE: These will not be available for collection during the Coronavirus crisis as all premises listed are closed until further notice.
