Community Coffee Mornings

We have introduced FREE Coffee Mornings for all!

We have now held two of this years free coffee mornings, the first one was Saturday 13th January and the second one was Saturday 9th March.

Residents who came along, enjoyed a free cuppa, cake and chatting with others. Children enjoyed the themed crafting activities that were available.

Our local Police Constable, Will Heather also attended with a colleague on March 9th to meet residents and answer any questions they had.

These coffee mornings will continue to take place hopefully one Saturday every month and will give everybody the opportunity to let us hear how things are in your area, help those who have limited social engagement get a little more company, enable those who work in the week to have a chance to meet other residents and generally for the town council to be more accessible to you.

We look forward to welcoming you all again and seeing more residents at our Easter Special Coffee Morning on Saturday 6th April between 10am – 12:30pm

News from 2023

Lord Clifford unveiling the history boards at the Fountain Kingsteignton with Mayor Councillor Ron Peart on Saturday 4th November 2023

The Unveiling of the History Boards of Kingsteignton

Lord Clifford of Ugbrooke House unveiled the History Boards at the Fountain at 11am on Saturday 4th November, assisted by Mayor Councillor Ron Peart.

The history boards contain information dating back to prehistoric times of when people lived in and around Kingsteignton before the last Ice Age began 110,000 years ago, through to 2023 marking the Coronation of King Charles III.

We hope that our residents and visitors will learn from the historical information provided and find it of great interest.

It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help.
