We would like to say a big 'Thank you' to all those who took part in the walks of 2022!
A group of walkers set off to beat the boundary stones of the Kingsteignton parish boundaries on both Saturdays 6th and 13th August in high temperatures, with it reaching 29 degrees as the days went on.
The first walk started from the Ten Tors Inn car park at 9am heading off in a North East direction and after 7 1/2 miles of arduous walking, they arrived back at the Passage House Inn car park at 2:30pm.
The second walk started from the Passage House Inn car park at 9am heading off through Hackney Marshes and after 9 1/2 miles of hard walking in such hot temperatures during the heatwave, they finished at Gappah Lane on the side in the of the A380 Dual Carriageway layby. They were then all transported back to the Passage House Inn car park for the presentation of medals and certificates by Mayor, Ron Peart, assisted by his wife, Mayoress Mrs June Peart.
